So we finally have confirmation on our baby and it is indeed a little girl! Ron and I went to the rescheduled ultrasound and watched in awe as our little girl yawned, swallowed and squirmed inside me. It was simply amazing. Seeing that ultrasound just brings reality into sharp focus! Now I'm beginning to feel her kick too. The technology on ultrasounds has come a LONG way. We were able to see her in 3-D! It was amazing!
Originally we were leaning toward a boy for the simple reason that we had a boy name but not a girl name picked out. Oh well! Now we do have a girl name that we like a whole lot, but we'll see what happens over the next few months. Things can always change. :-D
